The selection of leaders within student organizations plays a crucial role in fostering responsible, competent, and visionary leadership. A strong leader is not only defined by a clear vision but also by the ability to guide, coordinate, and manage the organization effectively. Therefore, the election process must be conducted in a transparent and democratic manner to allow students to choose the most suitable individual who can bring positive change to the FMIPA Student Organizations. With qualified leadership, organizations are expected to operate more optimally in accommodating student interests and developing programs that benefit the entire academic community.

Beyond producing quality leaders, this election also aims to increase students’ awareness of the importance of their voting rights in leadership transitions. Active participation in the election of the FMIPA Student Executive Board (BEM FMIPA) Chairperson and FMIPA Student Association leaders reflects students’ involvement in shaping the future direction of their organizations. By understanding that every vote has a significant impact, students are encouraged to be more engaged in the democratic process within the campus environment. Through a fair and transparent election, the elected leaders are expected to represent student aspirations and carry out their responsibilities with integrity and accountability.

The development of the PEMIRA FMIPA website began with in-depth discussions involving the organizing committee and the core board (INTI) of DPM FMIPA. These discussions were essential to identify and define system requirements clearly, ensuring alignment between expectations and the final implementation. The process started with the design of the User Interface using Figma, which was later presented to the relevant stakeholders for review and approval. Visual assets and imagery were provided by the PEMIRA FMIPA organizing committee, ensuring consistency in branding, key colors, and visual identity throughout the website in accordance with the original event concept.

The execution phase commenced with the website development process based on the approved UI designs. Each visual element created in Figma was gradually implemented into the system while maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, and interface components that reflected the official identity of PEMIRA FMIPA. At this stage, the primary focus was on implementing core system functionalities, including user authentication, candidate selection pages, presentation of information for student president candidates and student association leaders, and a simple, intuitive navigation structure that could be easily understood by all FMIPA students.

After the core features were fully implemented, comprehensive testing was conducted to ensure the system functioned properly throughout the PEMIRA FMIPA event. The website was designed to be responsive and accessible across various devices, allowing students to exercise their voting rights comfortably without technical obstacles. User flows were optimized to minimize errors during the voting process, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience.

With the implementation of the PEMIRA FMIPA website, the general election process is expected to be more organized, transparent, and credible. This project also serves as an example of how digital technology can be effectively utilized to support democratic values and processes within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
